Provide a home for beneficial bees with our Rustic Pineapple Shaped Pollinator Habitat. About 30% of the human food supply and 90% of wild plants depend on pollination from bees, the majority of which are native bees.

By providing shelter for bees, you're helping to conserve and restore native populations of these fantastic, friendly, super pollinators.

A native bee can pollinate several thousand blooms per day. Because their sole focus is pollination, they do not produce honey or beeswax – and native bees make friendly neighbors, as they are not aggressive! About 140 species of native bees make their homes in preexisting insect holes and woodpecker drillings, so they're naturally drawn to the wooden holes in this bee house.

Securely hang 5-7 feet high on a wall that receives morning sunlight and is near native plants and flowers.

Care & Cleaning
After new bees hatch, clean out tubes to prepare for the next season’s offspring. It’s important to keep the bee house clean to prevent mites and other pests. Make sure all bees have been removed from the habitat before cleaning. Use a pipe cleaner or bottle brush to remove mud and debris from the tubes. Rinse the tubes with running water (do not use a jet sprayer). Once rinsed, let the habitat air dry completely.
