"Usually not planned or cultivated, these colorful surprises never fail to make me smile. Like a spur-of-the-moment visit from a good friend who makes me laugh, these spontaneous happenings, however simple, can bring so much joy."

Inspired by dance, art history, nature and personal experiences with family and friends, Susan Lordi uses figurative sculptures to reflect our relationship with people and the world around us. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, she holds a Master of Fine Arts in Textile Design and her fiber art has been exhibited internationally.
