In a highly-detailed process, each drum lid is procured from reclaimed oil drum barrels, cleaned and reshaped as needed. The artisan then turns their original sketch into a stencil and uses a blow torch to trace out the appropriate lines. After receiving its punched-tin design, the piece is touched up, smoothed out and hand-painted with brushes and sponges.
