These stunning Iridescent "Stones" are actually mouth-blown glass created using traditional techniques to shape blobs of molten glass into pleasing forms. Recycled glass is transformed from a solid to a liquid using intense heat so that skilled artisans can manipulate the form.

These artists create unique designs by blowing through a metal tube to shape the glass. This forms a bubble inside a molten blob of glass, dissolving the barriers that separated craft from art. The color process includes iridescent finishes used to brighten the stones.
