Designed by artist Jo Kilmer, this Handcrafted Twig Dragonfly Garden Stake's "body" is made out of hand-cut mountain laurel from the Great Smoky Mountains. Crafted in Kilmer's North Carolina studio, no two dragonflies will be alike. Dancing on a three-foot metal rod, this twig dragonfly features speckled, painted wings and sparkling glass marble eyes.

In 1995, Jo Kilmer got her start as a rustic artist in Missouri. She first learned the art of brentwood furniture construction using local willow. Jo and her business, Spirit Tall, relocated to Murphy, North Carolina in 2006. Nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains, she adapted her craft to include materials found in the Appalachian mountains. Jo's received numerous awards and recognition for her art, including acceptance in the highly-regarded Rustic Furniture Fair of the Adirondack mountains.
