Rather than a gnomon casting a shadow to indicate time, this sundial presents sunlit numbers on the dial plate. Cut-out numerals on a band allow sunlight to shine through. Current time (10:45 a.m. shown) is read at the center meridian line. The 12" diameter time band adjusts to standard and daylight-saving time. Cast aluminum with a bronze finish. Shown with Bronze-Finished Pedestal.
