Comments about Product: As advertised - the remote sensor makes it easy
Comments about Product: The unit was easy to set-up and will wait for the Atomic clock to set itself. Product description state that both the inside station & outside sensor units use 2 AAA batteries. That is not true. The station uses 2 AAA batteries and the sensor uses 2 AA batteries. Other than same type batteries being a purchase point, I'll just have to adjust to stocking two types of batteries, a minor agrevation I was trying to avoid.
Comments about Product: i just bought this instrument and love it because i can easily tell ihe temperature both inside and out plus the added feature of an accurate clock. i need this because i always worry about whether or not it is freezing outside and need to be concerned about sub freezing problems like slippery roads.great product, great value. i think i'll buy one as a gift , too.
Comments about Product: I ordered two of these units for upstairs and downstairs in my home. They were shipped perfectly, the bubble plastic was VERY easy to open (no knife or scissors needed) and I had the units up and running in a manner of minutes. Each of them is now receiving two external sensor readings so I have one in the back of my house and one in the front.
All is working perfectly.
My only VERY small complaints are I wish the units had some sort of light I could tap or activate to illuminate them in dark rooms. And one of the units has yet to sync up with the Atomic Clock on Boulder. One of them did, but then the sync icon went away, so perhaps it only does it certain intervals? Anyway...either of these is pretty small concerns and I love having these two units in my home.
Comments about Product: This looks good so far. I wanted two outdoor sensors (outside and greenhouse) and this product delivers that capability. It took a while to figure out how to read both sensors, but it really is easy to set up. The daily min/max readings are very useful.
Comments about Product: Nice quality instrument, however, it is not intuitive (rather difficult) to reprogram if you've misplaced the instruction manual. Most companies are putting their instructions manuals online in PDF format. Let's get with the program 'Wind & Weather'.
Comments about Product: I bought this product with an extra outside sensor. Setting it up with the two sensors required a bit of patience to get it going... but not too much.
Very happy with the purchase!
Comments about Product: Would like the numbers to be a little bit big for the Retired people. Double face tape would work better than screws when you have arthritis in your hands. I had to wait till my son could come over to put up the outside unit.
Comments about Product: I KEEP MINE ON THE INSIDE OF THE OUTSIDE SCREEN IN MY BEDROOM WINDOW, SO I'M NOT SURE HOW ACCURATE THE OUTDOOR READING ACTUALLY IS. IT MIGHT BE SLIGHTLY COLDER OUTSIDE THAN WHAT IT SAYS.
I LOVE HAVING THE LOW AND HIGH OF THE DAY AND NIGHT READINGS.
Comments about Product: I keep this on the desk next to me and I count on it not only for the temp, but also I love it that I have the correct time of day all the time and can count on that when the other clocks in my house are not accurate. The Temperature is also necessary because the local forecasters are up and down and most of the time are not accurate and I can always count on mine so I always know what to wear and the true temp in my house, as the thermostat does not work most of the time.
Comments about Product: I keep the display on my desk so I always know the outside temperature. The device is very accurate and dependable as long as you find a good place for the outside sensor - not easy because the sensor is not weatherproof so must be given shelter that does not skew its readings. It has required some ingenuity find a suitable place for the sensor, but it has been well worth the effort.
Comments about Product: Excellent product. Accurate, easy to read, and easy to install. I use it in the bedroom -- a "press-to-see" light would be useful. I haven't had it long enough to assess battery life.
Comments about Product: We bought the base station and one extra sensor initially; recently bought another sensor (three remote sensors max with this product). We use it to monitor temperature in our greenhouses. It has been accurate and reliable. The base station is lightweight plastic and seems as if it would break pretty easily, but we've had it several months and haven't broken it yet. Definitely a good product considering the low cost.
Comments about Product: A perfect weather instrument for the kitchen. I love being able to see what the high and lows were for the past 24 hours. I just wish it was a bit larger in size, then it would be perfect. Highly recommend this product!
Comments about Product: I ordered one for my home nearly a year ago, gave one to my sister for Christmas, and now am ordering one for my ranch. I love it!
I reccomend you not put the outside unit against the building, but underneath a roofed area, yet not too close to the roof for more accurate temperatures.
Comments about Product: Very nice weather station for your desk, or kitchen. I wish the outdoor sensor had a weather cover for it, for it says don't put it in the sun, or have it directly in wet weather. How is it supposed to tell the temperature out there if it can't be exposed to the weather? I haven't figured that one out yet.
Comments about Product: I use this product every day to determine how I should dress( for rain /shine). I keep it on my desk so that is visible at all times. If it were a bit larger that would be a plus.
Comments about Product: I have a different Weather Station I purchased from Wind & Weather years ago. I ordered this one because I thought the other one was broken. I could have purchased the very same one this time, but it's price had doubled since I originally bought it. This one was much cheaper, and it is not as accurate. It shows at least 2 degrees lower temps when they sit side by side on the desk. And, the original one (which now works, except that it occassionally shows that I need a new battery, which I don't), shows exactly the same temps as my very expensive analog gauge.
Comments about Product: I use it to track inside/outside temperatures in my kitchen and at two locations outside my house to determine what outside activities, if any, that I can accomplish during Louisiana summers. Easy to program, easy to read, and the atomic clock feature gives me a reliable time check.
