Comments about Product: I have a "spinner" I enjoy, but it is one directional and takes quite a bit of wind from just the right direction to make it turn. Once it's going, it's fun. BUT THE TULIP IS FABULOUS. It moves in light air or strong wind. The spinner can make you dizzy watching it, but this one just seems to captivate your attention without being overwhelming. This is the one I will "gift" in the future, but I'm keeping the one I have!!
Comments about Product: Very nice windspinner, but there are tricks to assembly. 1. The loops on the blue flares attach are offset--at 10 o'clock and 2 o'oclock on the round of the pole. Fit top wire of blue flares for best fit (wire should warp from 2 o'clock to 10 o'clock.) 2. To get the most grip from the short screws, thread through the wire loops first and then through the hole on the flares. Once assembled, works well.
Comments about Product: Spinner looks great and is fairly heavy duty and should work well. Instructions are bad just pictures drawn in pencil. Indiviual who put them together should be hung or worse yet forced to put a 100 of those suckers together.
Comments about Product: Easier to make than others say. But the tip about screwing in the bottom part first is helpful. Only about 63" tall when in the ground. Spins with the slightest breeze which is nice. Very nice, sturdy construction. Great color in the garden.
Comments about Product: This was purchased as a gift for my husband by my mother... He is not a yard person, but we put this in the yard where he can see it from his recliner thru the window and he has been so drawn to the motion of the spinner.. he even sat on the porch in the evening with us to get a better look at it!!.. instructions not the best.. did better by looking at the picture.
Love spinner, but someone has to rewrite instructions
Comments about Product: For 2 years I told my neighbor that her wind spinner was going to end up in my yard. I finally ordered it when it was on sale with free shipping. I knew that the instructions were bad. But they are a joke. After four attempts at putting it together I looked at the online picture it figure it out. It took me over an hour to put it together. Should have been just a few minutes if they had a picture that you could see and understand. So if you get this get your laptop or taplet handy, that is the only way to try put this item tougher is with the picture on this site.
Comments about Product: I fell in love with wind spinners while visiting Santa Fe, NM. I recently ordered 6 spinners from Wind & Weather. This one gives a big bang for the buck. Large, vibrant blue, elegant movement. A total PIA to assemble!! It does make the yard beautiful.
Comments about Product: This is the 2nd spinner I purchased and the first one (different style and color) was very successful. Agree with the other reviewer these directions are tough to follow. We have a lovely breeze that blows through the yard every afternoon. But not until we had high wind advisories did this spinner turn. It's a disappointing outcome. Pretty piece but doesn't work. I really wanted a spinner much more than I wanted yard art :(
Comments about Product: Just received this spinner and I am very happy with it. Well made and strong. The directions leave a lot to be desired, but this 83 year old lady put it together and had it in my garden within an hour. Nice breeze here so it was spinning before I had it fully installed. A little expensive, but worth it if is lasts.
Comments about Product: The directions for this are bad. When assembling it start with the top sails but fasten the bottom of each sail set before fastening the top of the sail set. Works well with lots of wind, not as tall when in the ground as stated.
