This is very cool. U need a really hard rain, or angle it downward to get the water to fly out the mouth. It is large so it needs go fill up quite a bit. Keep in mind the opening for the downspout is square, not round ( like mine) but I still got it to fit with an adaptor pipe.,
Great looking item that adds attention to detail in the yard.,

This is the cutest ! -- though I am mindful from one reviewer that the belly of the fish is deep (it is!) and could be a potential breeding ground for mosquitoes (we have lots in Va) so am angling it more rather than have it sit directly on the ground

This fish is so cute I am going to order another for my other downspout. The opening for the downspout is plenty big and the fish sits perfectly on our stone border. The gray color matches the stone quite well.

I got this for our Florida home because the color in the photo would have been perfect. The fish is indeed gray, not a terra cotta colour. In the south the rainspouts are larger than in the north. The opening for the fish is too small for southern downspouts. I'll try to find an adapter or try to reduce my downspout size to fit. Well constructed otherwise and hope it will last for several years. Came well packed.
