    Comments about Product:
The Weather Pro Wireless Center is a joke. I have owned it since the first of July, and have had it "Flat Line" on me ,three times, put in three new sets of batteries, and it still does not give me good readings. It is worthless
  • Good information, poor user interface

    Comments about Product:
Unit appears to do what I expected. I find that the instructions that come with the unit to be as brief and unclear as possible and in the end one needs to just start pushing the few multi function buttons on the back and hope that before the frustration gets overwhelming that the set up is complete. In my case it went OK until I changed "F" to "C" by mistake which led to another mistake and another now I need to start all over, again, figuring out the right buttons to push in the right combination. Is it really that hard for La Crosse to make a product with easier controls on the back of the unit for setup? This is not 1995 anymore.

    Comments about Product:
Purchased as a gift for my husband. He is absolutely delighted with it. Wind "thing" (I can't remember technical name) is mounted as well as the rain guage outside. Works great, nice to get up ready for work and know exactly what the weather is like outside and what's to come. Especially this winter. I would highly recommend this weather monitor to anyone with interest in the at home field.
  • Very frustrating

    Comments about Product:
We purchased this a couple of years back and it has been nothing but frustrating. The good...the display is large enough to see and it has all the info we wanted but in a very short time it lost some of the lines which makes some info impossible to read and it is poorly laid out. The bad...the system eats batteries, you can't tell which unit batteries are bad and changing them is impossible without prying battery hatches open and damaging the unit. The rain gauge battery is inaccessible if it is mounted as suggested. I'd replace it but am skeptical about any other weather station.

    Comments about Product:
Straight forward set up. Communicates with my Mac via Parallels and windows 7.
  • Limited life to the Sensors
    11/16/2013 11:08:00 AM

    Comments about Product:
Worked well for about 6 months - then the humidity function lost accuracy - then the communication issues began - Lost the ThermoHydro sensor after 9 months - replaced in warranty - back in service just in time for the wind sensor to fail - followed shortly by another ThermoHydro sensor failure. Seemed to not have the expected reliability.
  • Successful Gift for the Hard to Buy For

    Comments about Product:
This unit had a bit more installation than expected but once everything was in place outside it provided more information than I even imagined. It was a gift for my husband who is hard to buy for and he LOVES it. He also likes the extent to which it interfaces with his computer.

Replaces a less expensive model, and well worth the additional money.
  • Good bang per buck.

    Comments about Product:
I use the weather station to check temperate inside and out. I also find it interesting to see how often the wind changes direction.
