Bought as a Christmas gift for my husband. After he went to all the work putting the sensor on the roof, after the first storm it won't work. Part has come off. Can't find the part, can't reach the sensor because of snow and ice. Disappointing. Will try to get a replacement part.
Otherwise, good looking unit and fun to watch other features.

It is used t0 keep track of the weather.
There is significant doubt about accuracy of rain amount and wind speed. Does not agree with simple column type rain guage 20' away. Wind speed also seems low, based upon my opinion as a sailor
everything that I wanted.

Delivery was quick. Full manual should be included w/ unit. Navigation on the display is not easy to follow, hard to clear data.
don't buy this!

the temp and wind are wildly inaccurate and the display for wall went out after only 3 months. You can read it if it is laying flat on the table, but not hanging on the wall which is what we bought it for. We wasted our money on this one. Shame, it would have been a lot of fun it it did any of the stuff it said that it would.
