Love this spinner!!
Comments about Product: I fell in love with wind spinners on a trip to Santa Fe. I was thrilled to find this one at Wind and Weather. It was a snap to assemble and spins easily in a nice breeze. A wonderful addition to my garden/outdoor space!!
Comments about Product: I like in a windy location and this spinner keeps spinning all day, creating a pleasing sight. It is easy to set up and after 3 years is still spinning well. I highly recommend it.
Comments about Product: This is my favorite wind spinner. It is so graceful and silent, and the arms travel in opposite directions at different rates. It's as if it's listening to its own music. This is a centerpiece in our garden.
Comments about Product: while the shipping crate did its job, and, the wheels arrived straight and "true" the balance is off on one of the wheels. it tends to rock back and forth in light to moderate winds, only attaining full spin in high wind conditions. this is a manufacturing defect that would cost me more time and money to get corrected.
Comments about Product: Okay, if yours is not spinning properly, you likely assembled it incorrectly. Proper way is as follows:1). Put the spinning wheel on the axle so that the silver colored bearing assembly is facing out not in! Next, place and tighten the regular nut. The nut will not interfere with the bearing assembly no matter how high you tighten it as it will be hitting the bearing housing and not the bearing assembly. 2). Put the painted cap on over the exposed bearing assembly now. If you're region is humid or rainy, some kind of gasket or sealant could be placed on the outer rim of the bearing assembly. This should negate or minimize the need to lubricate the bearings. 3). Place the capped nut on and tighten. The spinners should not be binding at all! If they are, you done goofed so start over and follow the proper sequence as described. THIS IS VERY EASY. Don't be ashamed to do it again. Finally, place where you want it and watch the dancing leaves spin! The only big negative, and it's a consequential one, is the included post. It's not very robust and you may want to upgrade this or even use cement to secure it to the ground. A heavy wind will take it down and that's not good. But for the money, you're getting a reasonably good value. Time will tell how well it holds up to the weather, though.I would finally advise that you take it in when heavy weather is approaching and/or when snow season arrives.
Comments about Product: I ordered this Dancing Leaves Wind Spinner, because I loved a similar wind spinner i saw at a friend's house. Also it was on sale. This was over a year ago. I prefer to make a review on an item after at least a year, because then I have more of an idea of the quality. I have had my wonderful Danding leaves wind spinner almost two years and it has performed perfectly. I did reinforce the support rod after reading the reviews, but it is a wonderful highlight to the view out of my home office;. At least one side spins with the slightest breeze and both side really get rolling with a good wind. You have to keep it lubricated and make sure the support rod is plumb straight up. But I love it. I highly recommend it.
Comments about Product: I received this last June for Father's Day and it just landed in the trash dumpster. It was nice for a few days. Soon after putting together the nuts keeping the the rotating pieces kept coming off. I had to rig a way to keep them on. This spring I brought it out to put outside and the pole had rusted so much it would not stay together. What a waste.
Comments about Product: I got this spinner for Christmas and I love it. It didn't come with instructions, so it took me a little while to figure how to attach the propellers. I noticed some of the other comments said it didn't turn unless there was a really big gust of wind, and I believe they don't have it attached correctly. There are 2 nuts, 2 cap nuts, and 2 cover plates. The open bearing side goes on the outside when you put it on the poll. Then the regular nut goes on. This lets it spin freely as it only touches the inner piece, and doesn't impede the bearings. Then the cover plate goes on followed by the cap nut. Now it's tight, but spins freely. Good luck!
Comments about Product: Design is outstanding. Our gift exactly matched gift our friend is giving her husband this Christmas. Is being used in place of tree in new home that is being restored. "Looks great!"
Comments about Product: I purchased this to provide visual interest in the yard and after trying different positions located a spot where the wind was strong enough to make it spin. It takes about a 10-15 knot wind to make it spin. It is fun to watch! It also spins in the rain as the water drops from the 'spoons'.
Comments about Product: For the cost, this is a great wind sculpture! I have had several neighbors ask me about it. It's exactly what I was looking for at a better price than I was expecting to pay. Good quality and spins great! I love it!
Comments about Product: Just got it and put it out. Spins on bearings, seems well made. Hope the nice paint finish holds up in the sun! 4 of 5 because I don't really know how it will last with time. But it spins nicely in a light breeze!
Comments about Product: Very easy to assemble. I placed it in the yard in a wooded section where I can see it from my kichen window and enjoy while on my deck. One spoke seems to move better than the other so may have to move it to a little bit of higher ground. After reading the reviews I did spray with WD40 prior to assembling it. I so love watching it, very mesmerizing. Very glad I purchased it.
Comments about Product: I found it relatively easy to put together, I did it myself. One of the wheels turns fairly readily, the other one not so much, despite applying various lubricants. The day I put it up it was extremely windy and it did not go crazy like in the W&W video, but it turned fairly readily. Since then, in milder winds, it doesn't do much. But it adds visual interest in areas of the garden when you want to draw the eye.
Comments about Product: Looks great outside in the landscape by our pool. Easy to assemble but the pole connection works loose after spinning a while. Have reconnected using Lock Tite and this seems to have solved the problem so far. The treaded connecter for the pole should be longer for strength.
Comments about Product: It was just what I expected from the pictures, no suprises! I had seen one on the grounds of a local hospital last year and took a photo of it. When I found this on the internet I couldn't wait to get one. The easiest product ever to assmemble, took just 5 minutes and that included taking time to grease the bearings for added protection. It is so relaxing to stare at it's amazing and looks great in the garden. I'm glad its not real copper because copper always looks bad after time never getting the "green-blue" patina you wish it would. This looks great as is. The pole is sturdy,no problems with set up. The only thing I would add to it is some decorative caps on the front and rear over the bearings would really look nice. If you like the photo and you liked the video of it in action...just buy it!
Comments about Product: Beautiful in landscaping and does not appear to be cheap from
afar nor close up.
Love how it not only spins but rotates.
Problem is that the area where the two poles connect, it actually
bends and I hope it holds in strong winds.
Comments about Product: great design. I can stare at it for hours.... looks great. easy to install. with the scoop design it really catches the wind. love love love this. also lets me know when the Arizona winds are blowing.

Garden Windmill Petals - Delightful!
Comments about Product: This product is delightful to watch. Hypnotic. Be sure to place it in a location that catches the wind, as well as your vision, so you don't miss out on the fun of watching it spin!
It is easy to set up once unboxed. Just get a rubber mallot to drive it into the ground securely and you'll have hours of entertainment!
Comments about Product: This is a wonderful addition to my garden. I put it in the front of the house, near the picture window, so that I can enjoy it from both the inside and outside of the house. It is so pleasant and peaceful to watch. It is beautifully made and of excellent quality. I had seen it at my sister-in-law's home and made a gift of it to myself. I enthusiastically recommend this windcatcher!
Comments about Product: Thought the leaf/spoon shape of wings would catch the breeze better than other styles, and I was right. Sprayed with WD40 as a precaution when installed, and it flies around in all directions beautifully. One of my husband's most favorite birthday gifts ever! Had to move it so he could see it from the windows both upstairs and downstairs,LOL! First comment I've ever submitted so you know this product is great.
