My spinning Tulip
Comments about Product: I call it my spinning tulip and it sits in the middle of a huge lavender plant I have in my backyard. They both compliment each other very well. It's the center piece of the yard. It is a great spinner. One of my favorites.
Comments about Product: Spinner doesn't spin (what's the point then?). Construction is so cheap the bolts won't go on the screws cleanly. On fact, top finial won't go on at all. Holes don't line up with ring and fins. Completely out of balance after constructed.
After complaining to customer service, didn't even get an email back.
Comments about Product: Looks OK until you notice the "leaves" do not line up as they lean to one side (a friend who looked at it commented on that fact), it was rather difficult to put together (if you have any issues iwth manual dexterity do not even think about trying), barely spins, even in strong winds, and the glow ball has never put out even the faintest glimmer of light even after weeks of full, direct, all day sun.
Comments about Product: A bit difficult to assemble unless you have small hands but once complete it looks great. The ball does not glow as advertised but still attractive. Also, don't tighten the center nut too tight or it won't spin at all.
Comments about Product: I fell in love with wind spinners while visiting Santa Fe, NM. I recently ordered 6 spinners from Wind & Weather. This one is one of my favorites. It is probably the most beautiful when it moves, but takes a little more wind than the others to get going. Sturdy and well-made, but very time-consuming and difficult to put together! If you enjoy the challenge, then this one is a keeper. Forget about the bulb glowing- none of them do (I live in FL- plenty of sun).
Comments about Product: Absolutely loved this when I bought it--only immediate down-side was that the globe did not glow. Longer term problems--the metal corrodes and gets twisted by the wind--once it is slightly twisted then the whole thing is out of balance and the metal vanes end up tearing. Only lasted about 10 months. I kept the parts hoping to rebuild with a non-corroding metal. Special problem areas--where the vanes attach and the bend of the vanes.
Comments about Product: I love this wind spinner BUT there is false advertising here that you should know about. The center globe does NOT glow at night. I live in Arizona where the sun shines almost all the time and since I am in an area where street lights etc. are not allowed it is very very dark at night. I even had them send me a new globe. Nope I do love the spinner, just don't expect it to glow!
Comments about Product: I love my new spinner. The directions could be better. Half of the 6 blade have a rolled edge, the other 3 do not. The directions do not clearly say to alternate them, but I'm guessing that you need to for it to spin easily. Also when assembled, the ring on the top of mine is slightly crooked, I tried bending the blades a little and that seemed to help.
Comments about Product: Looks very nice, spins easily, Could not see glow from 10 feet away. Wind and Weather was very nice and sent another ball. Could not see it either. Think it is because glow is just from paint inside the ball....and there is not much of it.
Very nice to watch turn, just don't expect any, or very much, glow.
Comments about Product: I ordered this as a birthday gift for my daughter in law. The gift arrived in time for her birthday. She loved it and so did the grand girls. She said that she didn't have any issues getting it put together and it actually worked.
Comments about Product: The main reason I purchased this particular spinner was for the "glow-in-the-dark" globe in the center, but mine does not. When I called to get a replacement, they told me that the globe doesn't actually glow in the dark, and that it contains luminescent paint that only "faintly" shines in complete darkness, but you must be right next to it to see it. Well, it doesn't matter whether I stand next to it or a mile away, my globe has never let out even one little speck of a glow.
Comments about Product: the Rosebud Tulip Spinner is quite beautiful once assembled. It is quiet when turning.
Be sure and study the directions thoroughly; easy to miss the petal alternating positions when attaching them and easy to miss which side of each petal is attached to top ring.
Holes for attachment on mine were not accurately placed so ring tilts at the top--still wonderful for a garden. No WRITTEN directions or extra screws so be awake when you assemble! :0)
Comments about Product: Lovely verdigris finish and thick metal construction make it durable. Takes a fair breeze to get it twirling but it is impressive when it does and the ball is visible at night. Looks great in my herb garden.
