We all felt like royalty when we got our hands on this Dragon-Handled Copper Mug. A unique example of the metalworker's craft, this 20-ounce, hand-hammered solid copper mug is accented by a finely detailed dragon handle, rendered in cast brass. With this mug in hand, you'll be passing royal decrees and handing out knighthoods all over the place.

Kingliness aside, copper mugs like this one—with or without dragon handles—are also the preferred container for the classic Moscow Mule cocktail, created in New York in 1941. It's said that one of the drink's inventors (a vodka distributor) went around to bars promoting the new drink and asked bartenders to pose for a picture while holding a specialty copper mug and a bottle of Smirnoff vodka. He took two photos, leaving one for the bartender to display and adding the second to an album he used as proof of the popularity of the Moscow Mule on visits to subsequent bars. Mixing up a batch of Moscow Mules—a refreshing combination of vodka, ginger beer and lime juice—is a great excuse to pull out this handsome dragon-handled copper mug, but we think any drink consumed from a mug with a dragon handle is a pretty big deal.
