Artisans used the best combination of wood, copper, glass, and sand to recreate the peaceful serenity found in an egret's natural habitat. Two hand-carved wooden birds stroll with lifelike postures through a lush, copper-crafted marsh; a deep patina provides rich contrast to the calming blend of ivory and gold tones. Granules of sand were scattered across the wooden base to mimic a sandy shore. Handcrafted in Indonesia. Artful variations occur in this original sculpture.
