Our Illuminarie Dual-Motion Windwheel must be seen to be believed! The kinetic design of the windwheel allows it to rock and rotate around a glow-in-the-dark globe in the center. This beautifully colored globe contains luminescent crystals that absorb the sun’s energy by day and release the stored energy by night. Enjoy this unique windwheel anytime of the day or night.
Comments about Product: We really love this windwheel. It's beautiful and works very well in the wind. It takes more than a breeze to turn it but it's lovely when not moving too. It really adds a nice touch to our rock garden. We had really strong winds this morning so removed it although it remained standing. We didn't want to chance having the pieces damaged.
Comments about Product: This WindWheel catches the wind and spins wonderfully. It is eye-catching and even when there is no wind it is beautiful. With a slight breeze there is some movement, due to a pendulum type of action.
I have not seen the "glow in the dark" feature. As it is winter & I am not out then. I think you have to be real close to see that. Save that for summer!
I would have liked a longer/ taller pole for this windwheel, seems it should be 12- 18 inches higher. But it is still awesome! The actual windwheel is large enough to make a great presence in your garden.
Comments about Product: I gave it to my husband for his birthday. He put it in the garden and the wind blew and it went crazy. We like yard art and this ads more beauty to our yard. The key to pinwheels is to be sure they are balanced and they will turn in the wind.
Comments about Product: In the first location the spinner was placed, as stated in some of the other reviews, it did not spin; however, once it was placed in a different spot where it could catch the wind, it performed just as advertised. If it doesn't work in one spot, try another. This spinner really gets my guests' attention, even when it isn't rotating or the ball doesn't glow. An attractive addition to any yard/garden!
Comments about Product: This item looks great as yard art, but in the six months I have had it in the yard it has never spun. A friend has the same item and it only started spinning durning a hurricane when the wind exceeded 35 mph.
