Comments about Product: THIS WAS A TERRIFIC EXPERIENCE! I ORDERED IT, GOT A CONFIRMATION EMAIL AND IT ARRIVED! NO FUSS, NO HASSLE,EASY ALL AROUND. INSTUMENT IS BEAUTIFUL AND LARGE ENOUGH TO SEE AT 20 FEET OR SO. I'M GLAD I BOUGHT ONE FOR ME AND ONE TO GIVE AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT
Comments about Product: I bought this item because it is very unique and different. It seems a little premature to judge this product. When I slipped the two pieces together they could have been a little tighter so the wind wouldn't blow them around.
Comments about Product: When the box arrived, the top 1/4th was torn and someone had used packaging tape to put it together. I found a small rod about 8inches long in the box. Thought that small rod had broken off of the longer rod, when the box was torn. Called your 800# and talked with 3people who gave me telephone numbers that proved to be useless. On the 2nd day I asked for the manager. She explained that the small rod was for the extension. I did not order the extension section, and still do not understand how you would use the small 8" rod for the extension anyways.I won't be ordering the extension!
Comments about Product: After about 10 years in the California Sierra Snow, the top snowflake had had it and just fell right off. Within two seasons, number 12 came off. We did enjoy it for some time, though. I would look at other snow themes as options prior to this one again. If I couldn't find a thicker piece with clearer markers, I'd probably go with this again.
Comments about Product: The extension did not fit the gauge so we had to cut the extension for the correct measurement. This is a nice looking gauge but over priced for the trouble we had setting it up. Our first winter is coming up so we do not know if it will work.
Comments about Product: I bought three of these. Two are for Christmas presents. One is for me. I'll have to put it in the ground after Christmas. I hope I can. The ground is now frozen. Sorry I can't be of more help.
Comments about Product: The copper snow gauge is the "one" gift for a person who has everything. It is very unique and at the same time very functional. Everyone wants to know "how much did it snow last night"? Well, now you have a great looking and durable gauge sitting right in your back yard. We gave it as a gift and these comments came from the gift receiver after the first early snow fall. Glad we didn't wait for Christmas and made it an early Christmas present.
Comments about Product: I've had this for the past 2 winters and it's really fun to check the snow measurements (we get a lot!). I just ordered two more for gifts - I'm sure that they will enjoy these as much as I do!
Comments about Product: Got a couple of these to use in Maine - one at a ski mountain (got the extender for that one!) Both recipients were pleased to receive them as gifts. Haven't been outside a full year yet so can't really say how well they survive weather.
Comments about Product: I bought this for my husband's birthday in November. It sat outside for a Minnesota winter and held up very well. It was an attractive addition to a very white landscape.
Comments about Product: We set this up before our (very long) winter snow season began -- actually purchased two since a lot of our snow is more than 12" -- most this year was 20". It was fun to see the amount of snow during each snowfall. We positioned this in our front yard so that it also looked like "yard art". It held up beautifully and we'll be using this year after year. Really glad we purchased this!
