Cheerful little guy!

This cute guy will sit by the door to chirp an "announcement" when people come in or go out. I like that it only takes one "AA" battery, but the compartment looks like it takes 2 of them... except the second slot has no terminals in it. I was not sure if it was defective until I turned it on with one battery & it worked great.
