Our fascinating U.S. Historic Currency Collection includes three important types of U.S. currency from the past century. Displayed in a handsome acrylic frame are a $2 Federal Reserve Note, a rare "red ink" $2 U.S. Note, and a $1 Silver Certificate which was last issued in 1957. They represent nearly all the notes that were in circulation until November 26, 1965, when the first Federal Reserve Notes were issued. The Federal Reserve Notes account for 99% of the bills in circulation today.
