My own 16 year old West Highland White Terrier, Meagan, was laid to rest on April 21, 2011. I had remembered seeing the Westie statue in your catalogue and knew it would be a perfect marker for my little girl where she was buried in my flower bed. I bought a new collar for the statue and had a tag made with her name and dates. Now she sits there bright and happy among the flowers in the out-of-doors as was always her favorite place to be. Within 5 months the paint fell off. After peeling the remaining paint, I painted it white, with black eyes and a maroonish tongue --- looks better than it did and should last a few years.
