Comments about Product: just to dress for the day! like the high and low. cant see at night unless light on behind it. and when the sun beats on it directly it is not accurate at all. so placement is important. no problem just move. thanks
Comments about Product: I love this outdoor thermometer. It has a large font and is easy to see in dim or bright lights. The only reason it has only 4, rather than 5, stars is that the battery (included) comes behind a hard to find and hard to open little compartment. A special little Phillip's head screwdriver is needed and after five attempts with various ones around I finally found one that worked. If you have a computer screwdriver set, you will be all ready to install the battery in this nifty gadget.
Comments about Product: When we first put this up it fell off the window after a couple of days. The second time we put it up, my husband cleaned the glass thoroughly, dampened the suction cups and it has held fast for six months+. I just bought two more for presents.
Comments about Product: I put the thermometer on the outside of one of the windows in my sunroom where it is not directly in the sun. It has been very accurate and gives me the same temperature outside that the weather channel gives for the same time. It was very easy to install and I am very pleased with my purchase.
Comments about Product: I bought 4 of these. Gave 1 as a gift. She loved it. I have 1 in kitchen inside, 1 in kitchen window outside and one in my living room. I love them. I know just what the temp is in or out!
Comments about Product: Does not come with special screwdriver needed to activate battery.Also did not mention that one was needed before purchase. Had to purchase at additional cost of $ 2.49.

Comments about Product: I have it installed outside on a shady window, but it must pick up heat from the house or for some unknown reason reads too warm. Too bad, because the design is otherwise very clever.
Comments about Product: This thermomter consistently registered 5 to 8 degrees higher than any other thermometer I own and any reading from [@]. Simply not accurate.
Comments about Product: THe thermometer itself was great - would have liked to have been able to see the digtal screen at night. The real problem was with the suction cups - cleaned the window numerous times and still the suction cups did not suc. The thermometer finally fell to it's death last night and was cracked irrepiarably. Sweet dreams digtal thermometer.
Comments about Product: I purchased this as a gift for my adult son, who lives in Northern Virginia. He installed it outside a window in his home. He subsequently reported that the thermometer gave false high temperatures due to heat transmittal through the window where it was mounted.
Comments about Product: While a clever design, the major problems are this:
If you have to attach the unit it an outside pane, how do you know the reading isn't skewed by the heat coming through the glass? Also, at night, there is absolutely NO contrast on the display and you cannot read it at all.
Comments about Product: Easy to read. Accurate temps. (Can't use outdoors on glass surface in very cold weather--suction cups can't adhere to glass properly.)
Comments about Product: I just tried this unit to replace a similar digital thermometer from LaCrosse that finally died after YEARS of great service. This unit has a much weaker battery and a much dimmer display than my previous one.Also, since the battery is a coin battery, instead of AAA, that means more cost upfront and no re-usable batteries. Suction cups were so weak I had to use clear tape to keep it from falling off the window. Good thing I saved the receipt and the box. It's going back.
Comments about Product: Wanted it to hang on outdoor window but directions say it is NOT waterproof and had to be hung under an overhang. Also said it should be taken indoors in extremely cold weather. I bought 2 and wish I would have known this beforehand or would not have purchased. I wanted it for outdoors and in all kinds of weather. Not sure where to put it now. Disappointed.
Comments about Product: I bought one for me and three for gifts and now hesitate to give them to anyone. I activated the battery and hung it but it didn't register the correct temp and before the day was over, it fell off the window and broke.
Comments about Product: Easy to install on windows, so far very accurate have only had them about a month. have no idea how long the watch style batteries will last yet. Very easy to read from a distance in a room. It does pick up different reading with being on the window but all in all a very good product so far.

Comments about Product: I purchased a previous version which used adhesive for mounting. I assumed that the suction cups would work better, but they didn't. Mine fell down after a couple of days and cracked.
Comments about Product: I had a similar Lacrosse window mount, which after 5 years wore out. I thought this was the same item, but didn't look carefully enough. The green glass and aqua cylinder caps make the thermometer more noticeable in the window - not what I was going for. And, as noted, the suction cup mount slipped within 24 hours in mild weather. I can't imagine it holding up in climate extremes.

Comments about Product: I purchased this thermometer a couple of years ago and I really like it. It's easy to read from clear across the room. I have had some customers complain that it reads a couple of degrees off, and I believe it is because it picks up some of the heat from the house in cold weather. Also, it has to be mounted where it won't get a lot of rain on it. I have it in a window that stays dry.
I also like the minimum/maximum temperature feature on it.

Also in gardening, it helps to tend my veggies and plants. I bought one for my daughter and when hers broke (accidently) she requested another.
Very surprised how convenient it is. Easily read and accurate. Morning tea and temperature check and I'm good to go. Glad I have it.
Comments about Product: Our favorite feature is the "recent max/min temperatures." We have one at home and gave another as a gift. It seems to be very durable and I love the see-through material that doesn't obscure my view.

Comments about Product: Good product with versatility to move and relocate. However, can be somewhat confusing when in looking at the highs and lows and trying to determine if these temperatures are for the current day OR since the product was first put into operation. I still don't know.
