This may sound sappy but I bought it because our last elderly cat had just passed away at 21 years of age. We've had cats for 35 years and decided to take a break for 2 or 3 years. It was strange not having a furry face looking at us when we'd go into our living room after 35 years so I thought it would help fill the void. Strangely it has. Beyond that, it's also very soft and huggable so when we feel the urge to hold something furry, it's right there for us. It's very comforting to have around I think even if you've never had any pets. It's very cute and lovable. It's also very welcoming to guests. Everyone who visits has smiled when they see it sitting on our sofa. Some have asked where they can get one and of course, we tell them. We got the black bear but I'm sure the white one is just as appealing.

I have wanted this bear for a very long time. My beau bought for me at Christmas - because he KNOWS I am nuts about Black bears especially. I cannot wait to get the Black bear body pillow... I am working on him. This bear is beautifully made and so precious. I have yet to use for a pillow as I am afraid if I do.... beau will go nuts. Lovely gift for young, old or from your sweetheart!

A bear began visiting my son's cabin in the mountains. He comes up to the house and then rolls down the hill, over and over. My son's wife painted a picture of two bears like him riding in a boat on the lake. I got this wonderful cushion in black with a brown nose to sit in a chair or stretch out on top of the couch. He matches the bear that is visiting them. They are wild about the cushion. It is soft and warm and made of top quality materials.
