This gorgeous, cascading all-copper tulip rain chain is a Wind & Weather exclusive that was specially designed to beautify your home's exterior. Patterned after the centuries-old Japanese answer to downspouts, it works by breaking the fall of rainwater, which adheres to the chain due to surface tension. Twenty-seven cascading, tulip-shaped cups will acquire a lovely, natural patina over time.
• Cascading All-Copper Tulip Rain Chain And 36"L Extension provides beauty and function with its tulip design made out of copper • These Japanese-styled cascading rain chains add elegance to any home as they hang from gutters, and the copper only gets more beautiful with time as it becomes a patina shade • Replaces boring and ugly downspouts as it functions to slow the gush of rainwater in each tulip • Each tulip cup is 2-1/2”H x 2-1/2”W and the 27 cups together on the copper chain stretch out to 108”L • Comes with option to lengthen the chain with the 36”L Cascading All-Copper Tulip Rain Chain Extension from Wind & Weather
Comments about Product: Hang it from an open-end hook, and place it directly below a "gutter line" where two roof planes meet, and directly below the drip line of the shingle.
You may want several of these where you can see rain coming off the roof.
Comments about Product: Was not sure if this style would pass muster with the "boss." I am well pleased with the quality. These chains are much better looking in real life than the online picture shows.
Only gave it 4 stars 'cause they are only 1 month old. (Look solid enough to last the life of the house but...) Also, you will need a transition piece to funnel rain from gutter into top of chain. This keeps water from running along bottom of gutter and splashing all over the place.
Comments about Product: This rain chain will suit my needs, providing beauty while directing rain and snowmelt off the roof into my water collection basins that lead to my cistern. I wish they were a bit heavier, but they are a good buy compared to the similar, more sturdy but considerably more expensive rain chains I bought a year ago. I prefer them to the lily rain chain that I was initially sent by mistake, which seemed to be shoddily made out of questionable metal that I was afraid might pollute the water I use to water my garden including edibles. Comments about Product: I am so pleased with my purchase of the tulip rain chain. Everyone who sees it comments on how beautiful it is. I love the sound it makes when it's raining and when it is windy it's like a wind chime. I can't believe I waited so long to finally make the purchase! It has been well worth it. Thank you for such a wonderful product.
Comments about Product: The customer service was great, [...] and it's a good product. BUt instructions for mounting, mounting screws, and length adjustment instructions were expected but not included. Ex. what type metal screws can be used with copper to avoid corrosion.
