This whirligig was not properly balanced and therefore would not rotate with the wind direction. Subsequently, the propeller didn't turn and nothing moved.....very disappointing.... I did like the appearance of the 3 odd birds in a line so I didn't return it - it's a garden statue instead of a 'moving' sculpture...

Excited to add a unique feature to garden. Put it up on a day with occasional mild wind gusts. Weld on one of bird's legs broke first day. Noticed that welds on legs were attached to thin strips of bird feathers. Very poor quality. Appears not to be truly intended for wind, but for show.

Within a week of putting this outside I had to bring it in to tighten the nuts. This was after some wind, nothing out of the ordinary, but more than a breeze. I noticed then that the wires attached to the birds' legs were skewed from the wind. I tightened the nuts, realigned the wires, put it back outside and within 5 minutes the nut had fallen off, along with the propeller. Though this looks like it should be an outside product, it certainly is not. I live in Missouri. It's not extremely windy here. I am sad I spent the money on this.

This is really cute! The birds are full of bright colors, altho small, but I would definitely recommend. Their little feet move with the wind(like on a bicycle) so it is very animated. I think you will enjoy!

It is the orchard in Tehachapi spinning away. It is just a fun thing to watch the birds dance in the wind. Not a thing.
