Potentially great, but defective

I was thrilled to find this weather station under the Christmas tree. I installed it per the directions and it seemed to work flawlessly for 2 days. Then we got a really rainy and windy day. First the outside humidity was stuck at 99%. The mfr website had a number of other people with the same problem but was of little or no use to resolve the problem. Now, after removing and replacing the batteries - correctly - the main unit is not powering up. Very disappointing.

This is second unit I received, both with the same problem. About once per week the atomic clock gains 40 minutes overnight and remains out of sync for a day or more before returning to the proper time. Indicator of atomic clock signal is always present. This would be a great [product if the clock maintained accuracy.

Bigger than I thought it was but not a problem. can mount on wall, but we keep on our island in kitchen. Very accurate and does everything except wind monitoring (which we did not need). Love the large print - very easy to read even at a distance.

Temperature readings often vary slightly from another atomic clock that reads indoor/outdoor temperatures. Don't know which one is off.

We live on the water and the weather station alows us to make our daily plans around the weather...acurately. Whether it be sailing, yard work or just going to work & school, we can be prepared.

Very pleased with this unit. The large display screen and limited number of features create clean images and an easy-to-read unit. Air pressure indicator is surprisingly accurate. Sometimes the time display is off, but that may be due to interference from a wine tower situated nearby. Otherwise, I'm completely delighted with the unit.

Atomic clock signal is limited and difficult to obtain, even after several relocations. If the atomic clock had a stronger signal reception, its rating would be much better.

Great product for the home. More impressive was how quickly the mfger. replaced the outdoor monitor that was defective, ie, it had a short, so the batteries had to be frequently replaced. After that was done.....smooth weather!!

Weather Station... Big Screen

First one didn't work...it didn't track into the Colorado atomic clock signal. Sent back. Received a second unit within a week or a week and a half. That unit works but, instead of measuring barometric pressure at my altitude (1,130 ft.) it "converts" to a "base" altitude of 0 ft. (i.e., sea level) and did so during its 14 day "adjustment" period.Duh...what's wrong with that ??? It's an o.k. unit but certainly not worth the [$] for the purchase price. You can do better with something that costs a lot less and provides the same degree of accuracy of this unit.

Clock doesn't work correctly

Setup is fairly easy but on my unit the clock has never worked right. It's always 20-40 minutes fast. For a clock that picks up a signal from NIST how can this be? I left an email with the company a few days ago,so far no reply. My only other gripe is the mounting of the outdoor sensor,it can only be installed vertically which means you can't hang it under an eve out of the weather.

It NEVER worked!

We had three of these sent to us and none of them worked. Manufacturer promised to make sure the third one was working and it didn't. They had no comment. We gave up and bought another brand that works great!

I got the weather station for my husband for Father's Day. He absolutely LOVED it!! He was able to figure it out and put together (mimimal) immediately. It is even large enough to read across the room and so far, is very "on the mark" for accuracy. He loves it and comments about it a lot. Thanks for having such a good product.

Perfect for a family with kids!
